China Jade in Saranac Lake

The most consistently bad restaurant in Saranac Lake, and there are a few. Place directly in toilet should be the tag line for this food.

Very good

Uninterested lady working the counter took my order. I ordered Schezwan bean curd. I was expecting a spicy sauce as the menu called it spicy. It was served in a sauce that tasted like beef (ordering from the veggie side to eat vegetarian) and was disgustingly mellow. Couldn't even get through it.

Great pineapple chicken!

The food was very good. I had a spicy beef dish and my wife had the egg drop soup. Everything was very fresh and what I REALLY Liked was the fact they did not kill the food with salt (like at most Chinese restaurants). The woman (who I assume was the owner) who took our order and served us was a culturally complex experience in herself. As a psychologist I am used to dealing with tricky personalities so it was kind of fun and interesting and different to be treated so, and I put this nicely, indifferently. All said though, I would rather get a really tasty meal from a difficult personality, than a really bad meal from a pleasant personality. Life is all about choices and trade-offs and so on and so on……

The women there was grumpy and rolled her eyes at us when we went there to try the food.

Food was good but the woman working the counter with the black rim glasses was VERY rude. She never greeted us, while we were at the counter she was on her phone. When the time came for us to order she seemed inconvenienced by us ordering. When she brought the food to our table she seemed annoyed and never once said thank you or greeted us, her customer service skills are a 0.

Food is fair to ok. Very unfriendly service. There are better choices in town for Chinese food.

Sorry I cannot rate this place lower. Poor food, dirty restaurant, toilets in the kitchen (!), bad attitude by lady at counter. Avoid at all costs.

Great options for vegans and vegetarians. Good pricing and fast service. Great taste. All around a great experience!

Great food

Horrible service. Stood waiting for someone to take my order for almost half an hour, Woman was rude and once I got my food it was cold. I only went to the apartments right above the restaurant and when I opened my rice it wasn’t even slightly warm.

Phenomenal Chinese, iffy customer service. It's worth it for the food, plus it's inexpensive

Ordered the s1, pretty sure it was supposed to come with an egg roll and fried rice, hmmmm. the chicken was soggy and not crispy. This is your normal typical no good Chinese, would not dine there

This place can go F*** themselves. I called them to see if the delivered and they just said no and then hung up instead of asking if there’s anything else they can help me with. I was just going to place an order and then pick it up but hey i don’t mind taking my business else where if they want to that stupid.

If you're not in the mood to sit down at a buffet, but still craving Chinese, I highly recommend China Jade. As a relatively consistent take out customer, I've never had an issue with the quality of the food. I will say that if you order via phone the staff will be abrupt but don't let that sway you from ordering.
